June Recipe Swap

Summer, at last! Well, nearly . . . If you're like me, you can't wait for summer to arrive, with all those wonderful activities we associate with warm weather and long evenings. And what says "summer" more than cooking out?!! This month's recipe swap theme is simply "Grilled." It can be an entree, a sandwich, a side dish . . . whatever it is that you just can't wait to slap onto the grill.

Standard swap rules apply:

• Swap will be for an 8x8 recipe page
  
• Use at least 2 layers of good quality cardstock on your pages and at least 1 embellishment
  
• Include your name and contact information on the back of each page.
  
• Place finished pages into a sealed plastic envelope before mailing.
  
• Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked "Do Not Bend," along with as much loose postage as it takes to mail me the swap.
  

The deadline to sign up is May 23. On June 24, after seeing how many people want to participate, I'll post the quantity each person needs to submit. For now, you can estimate on 5 +1 (for the hostess). In that scenario, you would get 5 recipes back.

Swaps are due to me by June 7. They can be mailed to me, or delivered to me at the Stamp, Scrap & Spa crop in Hendersonville scheduled for that day.

Important note:Due to my current travel schedule at work, this one will have a firm deadline of June 7! The return swaps will be mailed back on Monday, June 9. Any that are received after June 7 will be returned unopened. Sorry, ladies! I just can't hold this one up.

My mouth is already watering! Can't wait for some new grilling ideas . . . and just in time for Father's Day!
