Hey gals so i'm hoping that some of you may have some input for me if you have a second. Many of you are so great with paying via Paypal or via online bank transfers, and I really dont want this to become a big issue however, it would be wonderful if you could please give me your thoughts on how to hold your seats for upcoming meetup sessions. Many of you belong to other groups, how do you find your groups work? Do you use PayPal or Amazon payments? Or are payments just done on the day of the event? Do some people RSVP and then not show up so others cannot come, then you dont have payment for either? The events that I'm concerned on payments for are: Saturday Crops, Friday Night Crops and Special Classes. Hey everyone. To get more ideas and share ideas with one another, a Card Swap Group is always lots of fun and I thought it would be a great way for us to get to know more of our members more, to share ideas, and have some more crafty fun! If you are interested in doing this what I'm thinking it would entail is: - meeting up either once per month or every other month - coming to my house and swaping the cards with each other - plus the swap night - i'm thinking that i would share with you a technique and we would all make one Example - meet a certain night every month/ or bi-monthly - if there are 5 members you would make 5 cards and bring them with you - at the meetup night you'd swap with everyone 1 card each, so you would leave with 1 of your cards and 4 other cards - possibly have a theme for each swap They are great fun!! Hello to the "beginner" scrapbookers of the group. Over the past couple of months a handful of new gals have signed up, and are interested in learning more about scrapbooking and how to "fancy-up" their pages. At a lesson you would just need to bring 3 or 4 blank pages from your scrapbook, 15 to 20 pictures that you are working on next, or a new event, adhesive, and that's it. I'll supply the rest. I would like to offer some lessons to you from the basics of colors to using different tools and enhancing your pages with ease and confidence. My availability is a little limited however we'll see what we can put together. I'm kind of thinking once a month or so to hold these lessons and if possible, to hold when most of the beginners are available. So for those of you whom may be interested in learning more and more about scrapbooking, please answer the few questions below so I know when it would be better to hold the classes ok.
