Hi Ladies! I am new to scrapbooking and wonder if some of you may have some suggestions on supplies/scrapbooks etc to get started. All I have right now are thousands of pictures and haven't the faintest as to where to start. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! I would love to eventually make it to an open crop...with supplies! LOL!

Do you have your pictures organized already? That is always a great place to start... I know I had TONS of pictures but they were not in any order that I could easily find them to put them in an album! I spent my first (or maybe even 2) crops just trying to get myself organized. You can always come and check out what others are doing and it might give you some idea of what to get - there are TONS of papers out there, but not everyone uses a lot of them (and I have a bunch!!) You can start with figuring out what kind of album you like - I personally like the one from Michaels that has a hook and loop system to add additional pages to... I don't tend to work sequentially, so it is easy for me to move them around etc...
I say come and check it out even if you don't have any supplies - there are usually plenty to go around - I have lots, as I said and I'm always willling to share! Hope to see you soon, Tracey |

Thanks so much Tracey! I have an idea of what kind of book I would like to do. I would like to start a book of my oldest daughter's 1st year and start one for my younger daughter as well... I am so not organized with the pics as of yet. I need to make it to a group and check out everyone's work and get the ideas flowing. I really appreciate the response and supply offer! I hope to meet you soon!

Tanya, I just finished Bradys first year book I can show it to you sometime. I am with Tracey I like Micheals albums and for themed albums they have packs that come with the paper and stickers for that paticular occassion. I have a lot of paper left over from Brady that can be used for both boy and girl. Let me kknow if you need anything.
