Many of us need the peer pressure of group scrapbooking - I know I do! That's why I would like to explore the interest level for a regular crop, here in the heart of the Metroplex.
Members are expected to join with the PRIMARY INTENT of meeting with others who enjoy scrapbooking, and who intend to participate in group meetings. Those who actively attempt to sell or distribute any product or service are not acting in the best interest of the group and will be excluded.
This does not mean that company representatives are prohibited from normal disclosure of their affiliation within the group dymanic - only that each member respects the stated objective and demonstrates that their intent is to share creativity and NOT financial gain.
If you would like to help promote the group (an easy way to tell your friends) just print the flyer in the FILES section and pass the slips around!
---------WHAT TO BRING TO MEETINGS-------------------
If there is something in particular that you would like to snack on or drink, bring it! I provide coffee, tea and Brita water - and plenty of ice. Please note that no food or drink is permitted at the crop tables.
Since we meet for only a few hours each month, please bring completed pages that you are most proud of (or need help with) for show and tell.
Also bring a layout or two -depending on how quickly you complete them - to work on, and the tools and supplies for just those projects - not your whole crop room, please! (LOL)
Finally, if there is a new tool or technique that interests you, come prepared to share that information and/or demonstrate.
