Who organized?

Pack up your tools, photos, and favorite papers because it's time to crop until you drop all weekend long (Yay! we can lug our stuff up the stairs Friday, and leave it there until Sunday). We'll get together at 7pm Friday night and crop until midnight (maybe later). We'll return Saturday morning at 7am and depart for the convention in Chantilly (please RSVP separately for this event, so we have an exact head count). Please see the following event for more info regarding the day in Chantilly: http://scrapbook.meet... . After returning from the convention I'm sure most of us will be worked up and ready to crop, so we can then get to work with all our new goodies. Otherwise, every one can go their own way and we'll meet again on Sunday morning at 10:30 am and crop until the early evening.

For this weekender I'm asking that everyone bring enough snacks to share for all the days they plan to attend (fruit tray, veggie tray, chocolate tray). And please bring your own drinks for the weekend as well. I am also asking for volunteers to bring ice, plates, napkins, silverware, and cups for the weekend. I will hopefully have a small fridge in the crop room by then, but will also bring coolers to store all our refrigerated items. I will provide coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and flavored creams. Please post in your RSVP what you will be bringing.

Also, when you RSVP please include what major tools you'll be bringing to share if any. That way we're all not lugging the same tools up and and down the stairs.

Everyone was so nice and helpful……I learned about layering paper (which I had never done before), I learned how to make scalloped edges with a corner punch, I used the expression cricket machine for the first time, I learned about the "souffle" (sic) pens. I also learned where to go for chicken wings and where to go for a "to die for choclate pie." I look forward to our next meetup and helping in anyway I can to assist. ”
