Stockbridge Scrappers May Meeting

Hi, I'm Jennifer Calvo. I have started a local scrap booking meet up here in Henry County Georgia. I have tried to join other groups nearby with little luck due to the small size of the individual meet up groups. I also know that some people feel uncomfortable meeting at individual residences and walking in as a complete stranger.

Together with the other local scrappers on this meetup list, we have gotten together to meet as a group at the Deer Creek Community Center. (Directions Below) Our group meets consistently on Monday nights and a couple of nights in between. We love to drag all of our scrap booking junk out of our closets to meet and gossip. Eventually we would like to start a few demonstrations when we are up and running as a larger group. I welcome all suggestions!! Please don't be shy. I really want to encourage anyone who is looking to meet new people to show up and bring a photo, a piece of paper, a pair of scissors and some craft glue to get started. I'm sure we will all provide our own entertainment. And it is all FREE!! Don't forget to bring a snack and a drink. I look forward to meeting all of my new neighbors in Henry County surrounding areas!

Directions-
If you are using I 675, take exit #1, and go toward Stockbridge. You will see a Dairy Queen on the right and Taco Bell on the left.
At the light at Taco BEll light turn left onto Daniel Drive and go beside Taco Bell.
You will go into Deer Creek community. Go to the first street that you can turn left into. This will put you facing the front of the office. Drive around to the back of that building. The clubhouse is on the backside. You can back your car up to load and unload. It's easy access. NO steps or stairs. -J
