I'll start:
1. Hello! My name is JLo (Jen Lowe) and I am a mixed media altered artist who just doesn't know when or where to start! I started as a scrapbooker in 2003, but soon added stamps and ink. Then I added collage which led to altered arts and found object art. Then there was metal clay and that added jewelry making. I just don't seem to be able to stop!

2. I live in Lafayette CO

3. I love to play with it all! LOL! I still return to paper, but more in an altered art line. I have recently taken up digital scrapbooking which is truly addicting as well. And I swore I would never go digital!

4. I am in my 50s and I really hate to admit that!

5. I have a website here http://jenlowedesigns...
http://jen-lowe-desig...
http://web.mac.com/je...

I'm learning website design, can you tell?

6. I would like to learn more on website design, photography, soldering....my list is pretty much endless!

7. I am retired for 6 years now! Yeah!!!

8. I am addicted to Ranger, Clearsnap, Scrapperdashery, anything from Product Performers catalog, Lucy McGoo....I need a 12 step program!

9. I have more "stuff" than anyone else I know

10. I need help with my addictions. I love to organize. If you need help, I am your gal! But then I tend to re-organize over and over! And can one ever know enough techniques? I think there are days when my brain will explode. Do you ever feel that way?

Now, remember, this is a public website, so keep that in mind when you give your answers!

1. Hi there! My name is Carol Myrick, and I love to make jewelry, wear jewelry, buy jewelry & look at everyone else's jewelry! I started collecting beads in the 80's & stringing them to make necklaces, bracelets & earrings - then I began playing with Polymer Clay & making my own beads - fun! I sold some, traded with other artists, but generally just did it for fun & relaxation. In the mid nineties, I had some major life changes & no longer had time, or space to work with my "art" - but I kept everything & moved it around with me everywhere, and a year ago I found out about Metal Clay. I had always wanted to learn silversmithing, but the space needed, tools & training were prohibitive - Metal Clay seemed like a way for me to make silver jewelry now, so I jumped in with both feet! I LOVE it!!

2. I live in New Castle, CO, which is just West of Glenwood Springs.

3. Currently I mostly play with Metal Clay, glass & beads.

4. I am in my 50's :)

5. No website yet.

6. I want to learn everything about Metal Clay and I hope to learn lampworking, too. I've always wanted to learn pottery as well, so maybe someday!

7. I work full time, but just got to go to 4-day work weeks, so more time in the studio - YAY!

8. I am addicted to PMC & Art Clay Silver, 2-part silicone molding material from Cool Tools, and neat rubber stamps & molds I can find.

9. I have more rubber stamps for Metal Clay & books about it than anybody I know :) If you write a book, I'll be the first to buy it! haha

10. I need help with making myself get out of the studio to do my chores - I just want to play! I also need help taking pictures of my jewelry - I just can't get it quite right.

Hey Carol....when you figure out how to get out of the studio to do chores....let me know! I noticed some dust bunnies this week....and just ignored them! LOL!

I just got back 31 pieces of ACS jewelry that has been at Belle Armoire magazine for publication, so when you come over, I'll have loads for you to look at! I have to agree, it's my newest love...just so much fun!

Can't wait to met you on the 8th!

Hi! My name is Patty and I had the great pleasure of meeting Jen and attending her Crop for the Walk this past Saturday. What a wonderful place she has!

I am mid-40s, married, two boys (25 and 17)--one still at home. I live in Northglenn and work in Centennial--just a hop, skip, a jump, and 30 miles--ugh. I am addicted to paper of all kinds and could probably benefit from some type of 12-step program at this point! :) I have been scrapbooking for about 2 years and making cards for about a year. I did my first craft fair in December and actually sold a bunch of cards so that was very satisfying. In the past I have done glass painting, mosaic tile, embellishing of all kinds of objects. I love to try new things and in particular I am very interested in learning metal clay and glass work. My husband is less enthusiastic about me taking up new things because he's afraid I will eventually take over the entire house with all my supplies!

I love to be creative and have alot of fun doing it!

Hello there fellow members! My name is Tamara and I look forward to meeting all of you at the next meeting. I live and work in Castle Rock.

I am in my 50's and have spent most of those years creating something. Two years ago I read about metal clay and haven't looked back since. Unfortunately I work full time or jewelry would truly have taken over my house! I do as many handcrafted shows as I can during the year to sell stuff so I can make more stuff...sound familiar?

Currently I am working with a glass artist to put together a how to article for Flow magazine.
