Details
This is the second meeting of this group, so a great time to join. Dues will be free for the remainder of 2008, but you must join the National Art Clay Society.
At this meeting, we are going to learn about website design and how to promote your jewelry and classes.
Agenda:
1:00 pm: Introductions, Q&A
1:30 pm: Old Business: read notes from last meeting
1:40 pm: New Business: Decide a group name, Election of officers
2:00 pm: Presentation: Website Design by Cindy Lichfeld
4:00 pm: Share & tell: Bring your latest projects to share with everyone and tell what you did, how you did it; discussion about possible future swaps
And just in case you don't know:
Metal clay is a new medium. It is clay that is fired in a kiln. The binder burns off and the remaining product is .999 fine silver. It is a wonderful medium for polymer clay artists or jewelry artisans who want to expand their field of expertise. I had never made any jewelry and jumped right in and just love the stuff.
You can check out this website for samples and classes in my studio:
As always, if you have questions about this meeting, feel free to email me.
