About this Meetup

I started this meetup as a way for local scrapbookers to get together and have fun scrapping and learning new things. I am a consultant for Memory-Works which is where I will get most of the supplies for the meetings including the class kits aside from what I already have. I hope to host at least one 6 hour crop and one 12 hour crop a month if not more. The 6 hour crops will basically be free-for-all crops where you can work on anything you want! The 12 hour crop will be mostly a free-for-all crop too but I will have one specific technique/idea like ATC's, recipes, or kits during the 12 hours which the basics of will be provided for each attendee. All crops will have light food and refreshments provided. There will also be a small door prize given at each crop. I will also be giving away a few scrapbook goody bags! There will also be items for purchase while you're scrapping. I hope to make these meetings fun and interesting while learning new things. The techniques or ideas that take place during the 12 hour crops will be done like swaps. I belong to many scrapbook groups on Cafemom and have hosted as well as participated in many swaps. If you don't know what a swap is or how it works I'll give you a brief idea.
