This information was sent to me by Mali who is the organizer of the East Bay Scrapers meetup group. They are having a special scrapbooking event this coming Sunday. I can't go, however it sounds fun


please join us at our first annual EBS crop-tober fest & vendor faire!


what you need to know about the crop:

sunday, october 11th - we are making a day of it with 8 hours of scrapbooking fun from 10a - 6p! come and stay for however long you like!

scrappers - your cost for this event is $10, and you will have 4 feet of cropping table space to yourself!

meal options -there is a full kitchen with refrigerator and a microwave if you want to bring your own meal. there is also a variety of restaurants just 5 minutes away for you to select from [chevy's, outback, applebee's, in & out, carl's jr., taco bell, subway, etc.] if you choose to go out.

what you need to know about the shop:

for your convenience, we are going to have vendors available from Creative Memories, Close to My Heart, Soul Purpose (aromatherapy/wellness), Pink Papaya Spa Products, Mary Kay, Premier Designs Jewelry, Lia Sophia, Pampered Chef, and others!

we are also having a drawing for some really nice products from all of our vendors; so don't forget to get your raffle tickets that day!

mary, thanks for posting this for us.

we are very excited about our sunday event and hope some members from the SF group will join us! it's going to be a fun-filled day of cropping and shopping! also, there will be some awesome prizes from the vendor drawing! not to be missed.

it would really be nice if our two groups would cross bridges now and then so we can scrapbook together. form a carpool, and represent! if you are interested in coming, or have questions, you can email me here from the site. looking forward to meeting you!

That sounds like a great idea. It will be a challenge for me sometimes, since my schedule is constantly changing. If my schedule allows for it and if I can get there by public transportation then I would love to join sometime. Un fortuately I won't be able to come this weekend.
