I got the email today. The srapbook expo in Pleasanton is going to be Friday March 14, 2008 & Saturday March15, 2008. This is always a great event - lots of fun, get to see to new products & new techniques. Lots of exhibitors with tons of products. Maybe we can get a driver or drivers volunteer to be carpool drivers. Anyone interested in joining the crop nights may want to arrange an additional carpool since they are only during the evening and last till 11:30. I have not been to their crop nights yet, so I am not sure how they are. Generally by the time the exhibit floor closes, many people are tired and then we still have to get back to the city.

Crop Parties on Friday and Saturday Night

You won't want to miss any of these nights! Bring your photos and Scrapbooking supplies to settle down for a night filled with finished pages, games and lots of ideas! Receive a goodie bag worth at least $20.00 in Scrapbooking products! Share ideas with the hundreds of other scrapbookers in attendance. We have a lot of FUN planned for you!

Make & Takes
As if all the exhibitors were not enough... wait until you see the different Make & Takes on the Exhibit floor! It's the Make & Takes that have made our EXPOs famous, and keep you all coming back year after year. Sit down and try out all the latest and most popular products. Even better than actually creating a hands-on project is the fact that with many of the Make & Takes, you will have something finished and ready to put in your album when you get home

Volunteer Program
Would you like to volunteer this year at the Scrapbook EXPO? If you are interested, we would love to have you help us at our Scrapbook EXPO. After you have worked your 4 hour volunteer shift, we will pay you $36.00 cash to cover your costs for the workshops and admission tickets (it is your responsibility to pre-register for your workshops and admission tickets). The volunteer shifts will involve either helping at our Will Call area, assisting in workshops, helping out at a Crop Party, or assisting with Door Prizes.

Beginning February 1, 2008 you can sign up to be a Scrapbook EXPO Volunteer by clicking the Volunteers link on the Scrapbook EXPO webpage. All Volunteers must be able to work for 4 hours on their feet.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Baggage/Stroller Check

In order to make the shopping experience better for all, No wheeled carts or luggage will be allowed on the exhibit floor. Look for our FREE Baggage Check area at the EXPO.

We can only allow single seat UMBRELLA SIZE strollers onto the exhibit floor (infants unable to sit up will be allowed in single seat strollers). All large strollers are required to be checked at our FREE baggage check area.

What Should I Bring With Me?
For your convenience, if you plan on taking workshops or participating in Make & Takes, we recommend you bring the following items:

Blank scrapbook pages, a pair of scissors, adhesive and photo safe pens.

A camera and film (please ask exhibitor's permission before taking any photos)

A color copy of your best page layout for the Page Layout Contest!

All the spare time you can round up!
